Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Baroque Paintings, Layers and Waxes

During the interactive art workshops we will respond to the decoration of Troja Château, which is an inseparable part of the historical building. The visual motifs of Troja Château and natural themes from the Château garden will become the inspiration for the art work. During the art workshop entitled Baroque Paintings, Layers and Waxes, we will reinterpret motifs present in Baroque paintings (landscape, still life, portrayal of animals, portraits, genre scenes). We will try encaustic (wax) painting on a paper base, while complementing the painting with tonal colours, using watercolours.

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
