Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Ceramic Art / to the The Palace of (Leisure) Time exhibition

Our artistic responses will focus on the concept of an exhibition that reflects on the ways we spend our leisure time. A series of art workshops will include handicraft, sensory and haptic experiences, and creative collaboration with experts and regular workshop participants.

The workshops, entitled Ceramic Art, will focus on freehand clay modelling and the theme of connecting natural materials with artistic expression. To create a ceramic product you need to participate in two consecutive workshops. The creative work with clay will be followed by a workshop called Decorating Ceramics, during which the fired ceramic clay products will be treated with paint. We will focus on different ways of decorating (oxide painting, various glaze painting techniques and engobe painting).

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
