Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Graphic Art: Prints Made from Collages

The art workshop will introduce the artistic work of Jiří Kolář, whose works are part of the art collection of Prague City Gallery. We will apply the creative principle of montage and experiment with the artistic discipline of collage and its crossovers. During the art work we will be engaged in various working procedures (cutting with scissors and a knife, layering, gluing). We will focus on working with different types of paper and other objects. The collage will then become the matrix for prints on paper that we will create using manual printing process. The art programme will take place in cooperation with artist Miroslava Klesalová.

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
