The interactive workshops called The Creative Herbarium will respond to the environment of the Baroque garden of Troja Château. The focus of the artistic work will be on the mixed media art technique. Participants will seek their own reflection through collage, drawing, painting and artistic experimentation. We will view the herbarium from the perspective of botanical study, poetic imagination and as a relationship between humans and plants. Dried plants and colourful art materials will be provided for your own creative artistic work on a paper base.

A series of workshops entitled Using Plants to Decorate Objects will focus on creating objects in which dried flowers, plants or other natural materials will be preserved using special materials (e.g. various types of glue, resin, etc.). The resulting objects will be mouldings, various ornaments and smaller-format objects. We will work with the theme of remembrance and also focus on decorative and garden art.

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
