As part of the Get to Know the Vltava project, the Education Department of the GHMP has prepared a one-day workshop entitled Identity and Transformations of the Vltava River during which a collective work will be created in the Eco-studio of the GHMP – a huge spatial collage-assemblage based on a large-scale abstract painting of the river, to which visitors will add their drawings throughout the day, adding small objects (created works as well as ordinary things) – they will model the surrounding landscape as well as the architecture of the city, design sculptures, installations and street-art for public space, etc. The work will therefore be changing and the process will be documented in the form of a video. Furthermore, visitors will visually and content-wise interpret the map of Prague, dominated by the shape of the Vltava river. In the form of making drawings into the maps of Prague will thus create all kinds of variations – the pulsating river, the river as a flow of information and text, the river as the artery of Prague, the river as artificial intelligence, etc.

You can come and go at any time during the specified time.
