Saturday Art Workshop: Upcycling in Spatial Arts / to the The Palace of (Leisure) Time exhibition

During the art workshops, participants will become acquainted with the concept of the exhibition and the presented works, which will serve as inspiration for form and content throughout the workshops. The art workshops will reflect the theme and context of the leisure phenomenon and will focus on handicrafts, ceramics and textile art, emphasising the potential of specific materials (paper, fabric, wool and yarn, plaster, ceramic clay, etc.) and the creation of functional objects and items used in everyday routines through recycling and upcycling. Natural materials from the garden of Troja Château will also be utilised. A collective “artwork in progress,” in the style of collaborative art, will also be created – a tablecloth symbolising home and stability, which will be gradually completed by joint embroidery.

The art workshops will take place on the premises of the GHMP Eco-studio, located in the former orangery in the southern part of the Troja Château garden.
