A colourful book full of photographs and drawings is based on discovering, learning and collaborating children and parents. Readers will encounter a variety of sculptures and monuments from stone and bronze figures to works of art made by the body, snow or grass. In addition to contemporary creators, including even Kateřina Šedá, Kurt Gebauer, Krištof Kintera and Denisa Václavová in the book personally tell the story of one of their projects, there are also monuments of St. Wenceslas and Master Jan Hus or sculptures from Charles Bridge. The creative tasks will lead Prague and non-Prague readers to explore their surroundings. The book is primarily intended for families with children from the age of 6, but may also be of interest to educators or children’s interest group leaders.
