Start up: Marie Tučková – Episode One: Bunny’s Departure 21. 11. 2018 – 20. 1. 2019
Marie Tučková (b. 1994) comes forth with her new figure named Bunny. It is a creature living based on two real characters. Bunny lives in its world where it gradually yields to fears of its kidnapping. The artist has deserted her internet “safe zone”, became indulged in crocheting and employs the thus self-made masks to mediate her feelings about the today’s virtual anonymity. Tučková graduated from bachelor’s studies at the Department of Photography, Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and was awarded the EXIT 2017 prize. Last year, she was part of the group exhibition Medium: Figure, held in the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace.
