A girl keeps you company from the screen in an otherwise almost empty space; at the same time, her presence is accompanied by a tale of decisions, solitude, and love. The unreliable narrator offers a chance to identify with the story that is just as confusing and variable as the girl’s changing role in the story. Valentýna Janů (*1994) is a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where she is studying under Dušan Zahoranský and Pavla Sceranková.
