Jana Smrčková

Jana Smrčková has been working at Prague City Gallery since 2019 and since 2024 in the position of the Head of the Department of Communication, Events and Publishing. During her years at the GHMP, she has been involved in a wide range of activities, including revitalising the Member programme, establishing the GHMP Patron programme, distributing GHMP publications, and managing internships that have resulted, among other things, in the creation of the GHMP Art Book Fair.

While studying arts management at the Prague University of Economics and Business, she interned at private galleries and culminated her studies with an internship at the Globe Dye Works cultural centre in Philadelphia. After her university studies, she worked with various non-profit organisations focused on visual arts and film. Before joining the GHMP, she managed private galleries in Prague and Berlin.
