Mgr. Markéta Slachová Goldová has been working at GHMP as an instructor since 2015. She designs and implements educational activities for all target groups with an emphasis on all types of schools for exhibitions in seven GHMP buildings and public sculptures; she is co-founder of the Education Centre and the Eco-studio, and co-author of GHMP’s Educational Strategy. She participated in the professional setup of the darkroom and DigiLab in the Education Centre. She specialises in the overlaps of art education to film, theatre and photography. She has over 15 years of extensive experience in film and theatre, among other things thanks to her family background (as her father is a cinematographer and photographer, graduated from FAMU, and her mother is a make-up artist and costume designer for film and theatre). She is a member of the Chamber of Educational Workers of the Council of Galleries of the Czech Republic, INSEA (International Society for Education through Art), Association of Art Teachers and uMĚNÍM Platform (Platform for Creative Learning). She has participated in important educational activities such as the international research project App Your School. She is a member of the European Platform on Image Education, which brings together educators from about 15 European countries from major photography-oriented galleries and museums. She graduated from the Secondary Art School of Textile Crafts, studied Art History (Catholic Theological Faculty, Charles University), and Art Education (Faculty of Education, Charles University). She is also a graduate in Creative Pedagogy at DAMU (The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague).
