Markéta Slachová Goldová

Mgr. Markéta Slachová Goldová has been working at the GHMP as an educator in culture since 2015. She prepares and implements educational activities for all target groups with an emphasis on all types of schools for exhibitions in seven GHMP buildings and for public sculpture and is co-founder of the Education Centre and Eco-studio as well as co-author of the GHMP Educational Strategy. She was involved in the professional setup of the darkroom and DigiLab in the Education Centre and specializes in interdisciplinary connections between fine arts education and film, theatre and photography. Markéta Slachová Goldová has over 15 years of intensive experience in film and theatre, thanks to her family background (her father is a cinematographer and photographer [Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts], her mother a make-up artist and costume designer in film and theatre). She is a member of the Chamber of Educators of the Council of Galleries of the Czech Republic, a member of INSEA (International Society for Education Through Art), the Association of Fine Arts Educators, and the uMĚNÍM Platform (Platform for Creative Education). She has been involved in major educational activities such as the international research project “App Your School”. She graduated from the Secondary School of Textile Crafts, completed her degree in Art History (The Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University) and fine arts education (The Faculty of Education of Charles University).
